Today was a good day! We went out for evangelism and God was with us. He led us to Koteshwar, a new place for us. Four of us took more than 700 tracts including 508 copies of newly printed John & Romans. We prayed and started distribution with personal witnessing. We distributed those tracts in around 60 minutes and we thanked our Lord for the boldness, safety and will for the evangelism.
One man told me that all the religions are same. Another said that this was a foreign religion and we reminded him that even Hinduism was a foreign religion as Ram and Krishna were not born in Nepal . One drunkard told us that the time was coming to arrest us and we replied easily that they were welcome to do that. He took a copy of John. A teenager told me that he didn't like our God. I replied that I was not talking about a god made by people out of wood of the jungle. I was talking about the one true God!
Interestingly, one shopkeeper came to me and asked for a "diary." I wasn’t sure what he was asking for. He told me again that he had these tracts and he needed a "diary." Then I understood that he was asking for a pocket Bible. I had put five in my bag. I gave him a New Testament and another two people asked me for copies for themselves. Another wasgiven to a soldier and still another to a man in a crowded bus station. He had jumped from a bus in front of me and asked for a copy of John and Romans before disappearing back onto his bus.
One man asked me whether it would be sinful to read that tract and I replied that, in fact, this booklet showed the way to get rid of our sins. He took one. Also, many of the street-traders asked for a personal copy of God’s Word for themselves. Today was a good day and we thanked God for using us once again for His glory. Thank you for praying for us. God bless you.
