Evangelism
Asian Evangelists
Many Asian churches are committed
to pushing back the frontiers of
the Church into areas where there
is no serious witness. There isn’t
a shortage of volunteers for the
task and they do tithe and help as
they can. However, the economy in
places such as rural China, Nepal,
Kashmir or Burma is so poor that
here is little or nothing left for “big” expenses
such as sending an evangelist or
a missionary to an unreached area.
In other cases, the church may have
enough just to send the worker to
the field, but is unable to maintain
them once they are there. Please
support the Asian Workers Fund. More…

Lao Literature Distribution
There are very few opportunities
for mission work inside Laos. Doors
are tightly shut and most evangelicals
function in secret. The provision
of Bibles, literature and other media
by our teams is a marvellous boost
to local evangelists and pastors.
Follow-up is conducted among those
who will read the material. This
project provides enough finance to
print and distribute packs of materials.

Kashmir Seminars
Correspondence courses run by Kashmiri
evangelists frequently lead to follow-up
seminars. Week-long sessions include
topics on the uniqueness of Christ,
the authority of the Scriptures and
the basis of Salvation. Teaching
is by converted Kashmiri workers,
converted Muslims and experienced
Indian missionaries.
This is a concentrated week of teaching
and direct contact with Muslims.

Suggested amount: £150 covers a week’s
food and board, return travel to
a different Indian state, teaching
time and materials for one Kashmiri
interested in knowing more about
the gospel.
